2018 – Cooking with Abby - France

Full Description and Cooking Opportunities in France will be available 2/7/2018.

One meal we will have is at Bistrot Du Paradou. I ate there in 1997, not knowing it was rated one of the best restaurants in the world. I cannot wait to take you there to experience a meal that is life changing. J*This is included in the price.

I don’t over-plan – I aim to give time for the activities, tours, classes and meals, so that one may soak in the beauty of Southern France. The Provence Markets are amazing and each one unique. We will explore the markets in different towns during our week together. Linens, art, food, flowers, pottery, lavender, honey, olives…are all part of the markets.

We may book 5-7 nights, starting on the 23rd of September (Saturday to Saturday). We can spend 2 days in Paris if you choose – I just need to confirm that decision when you book. If you do not choose the Paris option, we will stay in Avignon (as base) for 7 days, 6 nights.

Culinary Adventure Pricing:                            $3895.00

7 days/6 Nights, 12 Meals, Tours and Tastings, Accommodations and Transportation from TGV Train Station (or Marseille, depending on size of group).

CWA Adventure Tours are non-refundable, but they are transferable to another adventure (any price difference is assumed by the traveller, unless the re-scheduled tour is less, at which time, CWA will refund that portion to the traveller).

CWA accepts Checks and Credit Cards.

A Review From CWA Italy Trip, October 2016:

I was lucky enough to be the first guest on Abby's culinary adventure to Italy in October 2016. This adventure was truly the trip of a lifetime. Abby created a perfectly detailed itinerary that allowed us to see everything that the Umbria region and Rome had to offer. The cooking classes with Lorena, Letizia and Daniela were nothing short of amazing. Their education and guidance in the kitchen influenced my newfound love for food, wine and olive oil! I have a new appreciation for authentic, organic ingredients and continue to seek this out now that I am home. Every day was a new adventure, vineyard and history lesson through the region of Umbria and continued to our last stop in Rome. From the walled cities to the panoramic views in San Gemini, Assisi, Deruta, Todi, Spoleto, and Orvieto, to the pottery, linens and hand-made Italian goods, vineyard after vineyard after vineyard, all the way to the ruins in the historic city of Roma, I'm still awe-struck. Abby's profound love for Italy (and good food and wine!) showed, as she put her whole heart and soul into this adventure. I learned (and ate) more than I could have ever imagined on this trip. I left a piece of my heart in Italy and would jump on the next opportunity to join Abby on her next culinary adventure there. I would highly encourage you to drop everything and go, you will not be disappointed! Arrivederci...for now!
